Directions to Alvernia
Long Island Expressway: Exit 51 (Route 231 - Deer Park Avenue) or
Northern State Parkway: Exit 42N (Deer Park Avenue)
Go north.
Bear left at fork just north of Northern State Parkway. (Sign says "Greenlawn").
Cross over Route 25 (Jericho Turnpike).
At the first traffic light after crossing Jericho Turnpike, turn right onto Broadway-Greenlawn Road (Route 86). Stay on this road 3 ½ miles to East Main Street (State Route 25A).
Cross over East Main Street onto Little Neck Road.
At first stop sign, turn left onto Prospect Road.
Take Prospect Road 0.7 mile past Queen of Martyrs Church and past the dead end sign.
Alvernia's entrance is marked by a sign, "Franciscan Brothers - Alvernia"
